As long as I can remember, I have been extremely curious about the world and committed to learning about and connecting with people from all different walks of life. 

I come from a family of musicians and music educators, and during my youth in Sacramento, CA, literature, music, dance, and theatre were all a vital part of my life. 

I have always been drawn to the common humanity that literature and theatre connects us with, and I knew that I would work in the arts.   I am thrilled to be part of a profession where I can empower young people by encouraging them to find their voices through writing and performing.
