I am an actor, director and educator, in short, a teaching artist. I have been acting since I was a child, directing for about 7 years and teaching for about 10 years. I have worked with students aged 5-50 from varying backgrounds, ethnicities and native languages. Theatre is my passion and I love teaching it. I also have experience teaching California History, English literature; and English language to non-native speakers of English. In the summer of 2009 I devised a 5 week unit curriculum to teach English to non-native speakers using theatre pedagogy. Please see examples of my work on later pages.
